Dr. Schuster is a renowned lecturer of Business at American Jewish University. He began teaching in an adjunct capacity for the MBA program at AJU in 2002 and joined the undergraduate business program in 2003. He served as an adjunct faculty member and Chair of the department in 2003 and again from 2007-2008. For the past two years, Professor Schuster has continued to teach on a part-time basis in an adjunct capacity.
His teaching expertise includes Management, Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource management and Employment Law. He enjoys bringing his diverse experiences into his lectures, teaching students how “theory” translates into real world business applications.
Academically, Dr. Schuster began his California teaching career in the Presidential/Key Executive MBA Program at Pepperdine University. He has been an adjunct faculty member at UCLA Extension, Occidental College, and Alliant University. In addition to American Jewish University, he has current faculty appointments at California State University, Northridge School of Business and Economics and at the Claremont Graduate University.
Professionally, Dr. Schuster also provides consulting services to people and organizatons, often by helping them navigate among the anxieties that accompany personal and organizational change. He serves as a Psychological Consultant for OI Partners/The McGuire Group, an outplacement and executive coaching firm.
Dr. Schuster has also been a senior Human Resources executive for a variety of firms including Atlantic Richfield Co. and Capitol-EMI Music.
Dr. Schuster’s career has followed three paths: a senior Human Resources corporate executive, a management/organizational consultant for a wide variety of profit and not-for-profit endeavors, and as an university professor at several universities in the Los Angeles area.
